Lake Effect Exteriors is a Southeast Michigan exterior remodeling company specializing in roofing, siding, and exterior improvements built for Michigan homes.
Lake Effect Exteriors was started with a clear purpose: raise the standard for exterior remodeling.
That starts with the homeowner. It means communicating clearly, doing what we say we’re going to do, respecting the home and property we’re trusted to work on, and delivering craftsmanship that reflects the investment someone is making in their home.
It also means looking beyond the build. We want to respect the character of the homes and communities we work in, restore their original beauty and charm, and use higher-quality materials designed to withstand Michigan’s conditions for decades to come.
Sustainability is part of that responsibility. When we install an exterior designed to protect a home for 50 years or more, we’re building something for the next generation. We want that generation to inherit more than a beautiful home. We want them to inherit the lakes, forests, communities, and natural beauty that make Michigan such a special place to call home.

Every project starts with a conversation and a thorough look at the home. Whether you’re considering roofing, siding, or another exterior improvement, we take the time to understand the problem before recommending a solution. If something can be repaired instead of replaced, we’ll tell you.
Transparent Estimate & Scheduling
You’ll receive a detailed scope of work that explains what we’re proposing and what it will cost. Once you’re ready to move forward, we coordinate materials, scheduling, and project details so you know what to expect before work begins.
Respect for Your Home & Property
A good exterior project includes more than the finished product. We expect our crews to keep the jobsite organized, protect the surrounding property, and clean up throughout the project. We also recycle eligible construction materials whenever practical to reduce unnecessary waste.
We’re Still Here After the Job
Our responsibility doesn’t end when the crew leaves. We complete a final walkthrough, provide applicable warranty information, and remain available if you have questions about your roof, siding, or exterior after the project is complete.
